Your vacation begins as soon as you come aboard with us. This does not only include pleasant service, but of course also that you arrive fit at your vacation destination! For this reason, especially on long-distance flights, it’s important to get sufficient exercise. Sitting for a long time in the same position can namely lead to blood circulation problems in one’s legs and even thrombosis in the leg vessels. In order to prevent this, we would like to give you a few tips on this page.

In the airplane

  • Walk at least once per 2 hours up and down the aisle-way.
  • Do the following exercises - sitting in your chair:
    • make alternating winding movements with your left and right foot
    • pull alternately your left and right knee all the way up for a moment
      In this way, you recover your blood circulation and avoid pinching.
      On board, we will show a video in which this and other exercises are explained.
  • Your body dries out in the airplane, a process that is aggravated by drinking alcohol, coffee, tea, and carbonated drinks. We therefore advise you to drink lots of water. You will notice that you feel fitter upon arrival.
  • In order to prevent dehydration, your skin will also benefit from a moisturizing cream.

At your destination

  • Take a good walk or go swim a couple of laps.
  • Take a nice shower or a warm bath.
  • After a long flight, a massage is of course a relief to your body…
