Isla Mujeres, or “Island of Women”, lies at eleven kilometers’ distance from the coast of Cancun and is the perfect location for a relaxed tropical vacation day, surrounded by azure water with a pleasant warm temperature. Would you like to explore the island a little more? Then rent a bicycle or a scooter!

Most of the markets are held in the center of downtown Cancun. The largest markets are Ki Huic Market and Mercado 28. Here you’ll find, among others, excellent leatherwear, tin products, pottery, hammocks, tapestries, baskets, and traditional Mexican clothing, such as huaraches (sandals) and huipiles (colorful dresses in Mayan style). These markets are your chance to subject your haggling capabilities to a practical test.

With such a long coast, it’s no wonder that Mexico is so good for water sports. You’ll find Parque Nizuc, a maritime park on the south side of Cancun’s hotel zone, good for snorkeling and water skiing.
